The University of Mysore (UoM) has always occupied an esteemed place among the Universities of India for over a century. Prof. N.K. Lokanath, the present Vice-Chancellor of UoM, has recently outlined several initiatives to enhance the Varsity's reputation and quality of education, and many Departments have already benefited from his efforts.
