Mysuru, Sept. 5 -- With some vehicle owners seeking more time to remove abandoned vehicles from footpaths and other public places, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has given a final deadline of Sept. 12, 2026, to clear them, making it clear that there will be no further extension.
The MCC had launched a drive similar to 'Operation Footpath' on Aug. 4, following the Star of Mysore report titled 'Car Garbage' published on July 13, which highlighted the menace of abandoned vehicles in the city and the danger they pose to curious children.
