India, Oct. 26 -- Mysuru, Oct. 26- Writer and Founder-President of Karnataka Muktaka Sahitya Academy, S. Ramprasad, has been selected for 'Sangeetha Seva Nidhi' award instituted by JSS Sangeetha Sabha Trust, Mysuru, of JSS Mahavidyapeetha.

According to a press release from Sabha Secretary T.P. Prabhuswamy and Trustee Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao, Ramprasad has been selected for the award, to be conferred during the 30th Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Swamiji Memorial Music Conference, scheduled to be held from Dec. 2 to 6 at JSS Women's College auditorium, Saraswathipuram in the city.
