Mysuru, Oct. 9 -- With the State Government naming the erstwhile Hyderabad-Karnataka region as Kalyana Karnataka and Mumbai-Karnataka region as Kittur Karnataka, BJP MLC Raghu R. Kautilya has urged the State Government to name Old Mysuru region either as Nalwadi Karnataka or Nalwadi Mysuru region as a mark of honour for the erstwhile Mysore Maharaja Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar.

Addressing a press meet at the BJP Office in Chamarajapuram here this morning, Raghu Kautilya said that the State Government should make the announcement naming Old Mysuru region as Nalwadi Karnataka on the day of Dasara inauguration in Mysuru on Oct. 11.
