Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Ministry of Defence at the Defence Headquarters Complex (DHQC) in Kotte today (09 September). He was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour and warmly received by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd).
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) highlighted India's longstanding support to Sri Lanka across numerous areas, as well as the strong defence ties and close cooperation between the two countries.
