Hyderabad, Nov. 2 -- A pregnant woman was rescued by a 108 ambulance team while crossing a stream in Asifabad district on Monday, November 2.

The incident occurred in Chilkaguda village, where the woman developed labour pains. A video shared on social media showed her family and the ambulance staff carrying her across the stream.

Responding to the call, the Kerameri and Rebbena ambulances reached the Ada Dasnapur stream. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) Ramana and Praful crossed the stream and brought the woman to the ambulance on a motorcycle.

She was subsequently shifted to Asifabad Hospital and admitted for treatment.
