Riyadh, Sept. 19 -- Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Civil Defence early on Saturday, September 19, issued a warning over a potential danger in Riyadh City through the National Early Warning Platform for Emergencies.

In a statement on X, the Civil Defence said an alert had also been issued in Khamis Mushait, warning residents of potential danger.

For their safety, residents were urged to remain calm, follow official Civil Defence instructions and move to a safe place. They were also advised to avoid gatherings and filming.

Civil Defence said people should call 998 in case of an emergency.

The authority later announced that the danger had passed in both areas.
