Hyderabad, Sept. 29 -- With less than 10 days remaining for filing claims and objections for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana, 45,54,236 electors out of 92,88,181 have been cleared for inclusion in the final electoral roll after hearings.

According to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), 92,88,180 notices had been generated against a target of 92,88,181 by Monday, September 28. Out of this, 87,85,739 notices (94.6 per cent) have been delivered, whereas 5,02,441 (5.4 per cent) remain pending.
