Hyderabad, April 2 -- Congress leader and Sangareddy district in charge Kata Srinivas Goud was placed under house arrest on Thursday, April 2, for accusing Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy of corruption.
Tension prevailed at Goud's residence at RC Puram when he was heading to the Biramguda Shiva Temple. The police arrived at Goud's residence and put him under house arrest, anticipating that the BRS and Congress members could clash.
