Hyderabad, Feb. 14 -- The Supreme Court will hear a batch of petitions against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday, February 16, seeking directions to file a first information report (FIR) against him and the constitution of a Special Investigation Team to probe the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader's instances of hate speech against Muslims.

The petitions will be heard by Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi, LiveLaw reported.
