Hyderabad, Oct. 28 -- A special fast-track court at LB Nagar on Wednesday, October 28, sentenced a 25-year-old man to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually harassing the minor daughter of his live-in partner and trying to assault her, the police said.

The Special Fast Track Court for Rape and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Cases also fined the convict, Jarpula Ganesh, Rs 32,000. It directed that Rs 1.5 lakh be paid to the girl as compensation.

Ganesh is a private employee from Maheshwaram mandal in Rangareddy district.
