Hyderabad, April 2 -- The Chandanagar Police arrested seven people who created fake documents to claim ownership of a government land belonging to the Social Welfare Department on Wednesday, April 1.

The land has been handed over to the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) for protection.

The case is concerning a piece of land owned by the Social Welfare Department in survey numbers 373, 374 and 375 at Gangaram in Chandanagar village of Serilingampally mandal in Rangareddy district, which was designated as an open space meant for a community hall or park.
