Hyderabad, Oct. 26 -- The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has served a notice to the Telangana government over the demands of part-time, guest and contract teachers in the state's gurukul (residential) educational institutions, asking for an action-taken report within 15 days.

NCSC Director G Sunil Kumar Babu issued the notice on Monday, October 26, to the Principal Secretary of the state's Scheduled Caste Development Department, following a representation from former All India Congress Committee (AICC) member Bakka Judson.
