Hyderabad, April 14 -- A newborn girl was found abandoned on the tracks between Lakdikapool and Khairtabad railway stations on Monday, April 13. The girl is reportedly 10-15 days old and has been shifted to Niloufer Hospital.

She was spotted under a bridge by locals, who informed the Nampally Railway Police. The newborn is currently stable, local reports stated.

An investigation to trace the parents is underway.
