Hyderabad, Nov. 6 -- A 42-year-old man was arrested by Meerpet Police on Friday, November 6, for allegedly stabbing his mother-in-law and sister-in-law to death and seriously injuring his brother-in-law at Badangpet in Rangareddy district on Friday, November 6.

The deceased have been identified as Niranjan Bee and her daughter-in-law, Md Reshma (39). Reshma's husband, Yusuf, sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Reshma's brother, Mohammad Ahmed Khan (37), an Assistant Section Officer in the Telangana Secretariat, had lodged a complaint with Meerpet Police stating that he heard loud cries from the house on Wednesday and when he went down to check, he found the three lying in a pool of blood.
