Bengaluru, Aug. 29 -- The Karnataka government has ordered a major reshuffle in the police department, transferring 15 IPS officers in a move aimed at strengthening the administrative and policing machinery across the state.

Among the significant changes, N Shashikumar, who was serving as Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner, has been transferred without a new posting. Bhushan Borase has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Hubballi-Dharwad.

The government has also made changes at senior levels. ADGP P. Harishekaran has been transferred to the Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, while ADGP Nanjundaswamy has been posted to the Karnataka State Human Rights Commission. ADGP Divyajyoti Ray has been transferred to the Crime ...
