Kuwait, Bahrain under Iran fire as US strikes Islamic Republic
Hyderabad, July 13 -- Kuwait said Monday morning, July 13, its air defences were firing as Iran retaliated over US airstrikes targeting it.
Monday marked the 26th day since Washington and Tehran signed their memorandum of understanding and the 135th day of the conflict, as fresh US strikes, explosions in southern Iran and renewed warnings from both sides signalled another escalation.
Kuwait's military issued the statement on the attack, without immediately saying if there was any damage or casualties in the tiny Mideast nation. Kuwait repeatedly has been targeted by Iran.
