Bengaluru, Oct. 23 -- Consumers who have missed the household survey of Gruha Jyothi beneficiaries have been asked by BESCOM to submit their documents at the respective subdivision offices by October 31.

The electricity utility has warned that the deadline will not be extended, describing the date as the final opportunity for those who have not completed the survey.

The Karnataka government has provided an alternative for consumers whose houses were found locked or vacant, as well as those who were unable to participate when survey staff visited. Such consumers can personally visit their BESCOM subdivision offices and provide the required documents within the stipulated period.
