Israel ready to resume Iran strikes with 'greater force': Katz
Hyderabad, July 9 -- Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said on Thursday, July 9, that Israel was prepared to resume military operations against Iran if necessary, warning that any future campaign would be carried out "with even greater force" as the latest fighting between Washington and Tehran heightened fears of a wider regional conflict.
Katz's remarks came as fresh hostilities erupted following a wave of US airstrikes on Iranian targets and retaliatory attacks by Tehran on American military positions in the Gulf.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran had been significantly weakened by Israel's previous military campaigns but stressed that the confrontation was not yet over.
