Hyderabad, April 1 -- The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has achieved its highest-ever property tax collection of Rs 2,501.25 crore in the financial year 2025-26.

As per GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan, the record collection was completed as the financial year deadline ended at 8 pm on March 31.

One-Time Scheme

Between December 2025 and March 2026, GHMC witnessed the highest collection after the introduction of the government's One-Time Scheme.

For the financial year 2026-27, the commissioner encouraged taxpayers to make early payments.
