Hyderabad, April 3 -- Hyderabad Commissioner of Police V C Sajjanar on Thursday, April 2, warned against food adulteration and said it poses health risks.

Sajjanar addressed a meeting with food business owners and said that 92 cases have been filed against 98 people in Hyderabad for indulging in food adulteration, and 62 tons of adulterated food were seized.

Food traders asked to maintain quality standards

Food traders were asked to maintain the quality standards and ensure they possess valid licenses. He also requested citizens to report food adulteration incidents immediately.
