Hyderabad, Nov. 1 -- A 29-year-old businessman allegedly jumped to his death in Durgam Cheruvu Lake in Hyderabad on Saturday, October 31.

The deceased was identified as A Sai Maheshwar, son of A Venkata Rama Manikya Rao, a resident of Miro Apartments, Nallagandla. Speaking to Siasat.com, Madhapur Sub Inspector Vimla said, "Maheshwar jumped into the lake at 3:30 PM. According to his family, he was facing financial issues for some time."

The police registered a case of suspicious death under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNSS).
