Hyderabad: Pressure to repair bike drives man to jump off terrace
Hyderabad, Aug. 21 -- A 24-year-old man died after jumping from the 7th floor of a building in Masab Tank, police said on Friday, August 21. The deceased was allegedly pressured to repair a damaged bike of one of the accused, which pushed him to take the extreme step.
According to the police, the deceased, Mir Sofiyan Ali, a private employee, had borrowed a Royal Enfield bike from Mohammed Hanzala Pasha and Mohammed Isaq Uddin and damaged it after getting into a road accident.
The bike was then kept at Sofiyan's house, and the other two repeatedly pressured him for repairs even after he confessed that he had no money to get the vehicle repaired.
