Hyderabad, June 23 -- A group of female students allegedly faced police brutality in Adibatla on Tuesday, June 23, while they were demanding their academic certificates from the college administration.

As students had gathered outside the Sri Chaitanya College for a peaceful protest, chaos descended when the Adibatla Circle Inspector (CI) Ravi Kumar slapped a few students to disperse the crowd. Some protestors asked the CI to stop and said, "What are you doing? these are girls."

However, Kumar did not pay heed and continued to assault students.
