Hyderabad, April 2 -- The Special Operations Team (SOT) and local police arrested two individuals on Wednesday, April 1, at Nagole X Road, Hyderabad, for alleged drug peddling. Officials seized 25.65 gram of MDMA worth Rs 3.61 lakh.
Junaid Raza Siddiqui, 36, from Mehdipatnam and Sunil Subba, 29, from Bandlaguda, ran a restaurant at Sun City in Kali Mandir.
According to police, the accused persons sold drugs with the help of suppliers Mohammed Ansari and Raju.
Ansari procured MDMA from Himachal Pradesh and sold it to customers in the city. Siddiqui and Subba came in contact with him as all three lived in the same locality.
