Hyderabad, June 18 -- Hyderabad Food Adulteration Surveillance Team (H-FAST) officials seized 825 kg of adulterated paneer from 45 food outlets and eight manufacturing units on Wednesday, June 17.

The paneer was allegedly made using synthetic milk, starch, excess water and non-milk fats, officials said.

3,000 kg dairy products seized from Secunderabad

Earlier, on March 18, the Commissioner's Task Force, Khairtabad Zone Team, in coordination with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Food Safety Officers (FSO) conducted raids in Ganj Bazar, Secunderabad, leading to a seizure of 3,892 kg of dairy products worth Rs 11,11,600. Six people, operating the retail and wholesale outlets, were also arrested during the raid.
