Fake doctor arrested in Jangaon, medicines worth Rs 2L seized
Hyderabad, Sept. 10 -- The Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE) raided a clinic operated by a fake doctor (quack) at Yerragollapahad village in Jangaon on Thursday and seized 40 varieties of medicines worth Rs. 2.10 lakh.
Panneru Ramesh is not a licensed doctor or a medical representative. In a raid at his clinic, First Aid Clinic, officials found antibiotics, steroids, habit-forming drugs, analgesics, anti-ulcer medicines and antihypertensive drugs in large stock.
Panneru Ramesh was arrested and further investigations are on.
