Yadgir, Nov. 7 -- Four young men were killed on the spot after their car rammed into a roadside wall on the under-construction Chennai-Surat Expressway near the Ibrahim DBL Camp in Shahapur taluk of Yadgir district late Friday night, November 6.

The deceased have been identified as Gururaj Chavan, 35, Reddy Rathod, 33, Govind Chavan, 28, and Kumar Rathod, 26. Three of them belonged to Malhar Thanda, while the fourth was from Lingeri Thanda.

According to preliminary information, the four were travelling from Jewargi in the Kalaburagi district towards Yadgir in a car. The vehicle was reportedly moving at high speed when the driver lost control and crashed into a wall along the expressway, which is still under construction.
