Hyderabad, Nov. 3 -- A three-year-old boy was reunited with his adoptive parents in Jagtial on Monday, November 2, after a video of him crying outside a child protection facility went viral on social media.

According to local reports, the boy was taken in by Kasarapu Srinivas and Saritha when he was just five days old. The couple could not have children of their own and adopted the boy by performing rituals according to Hindu tradition.

However, unidentified persons filed a complaint with the Child Welfare Commission (CWC), and the boy was shifted to a facility.

The couple approached the Telangana High Court seeking relief. On October 16, the High Court directed the CWC to hand over the child to the couple.
