Patna, April 1 -- A Muslim woman allegedly died by suicide on Tuesday, March 31, in Bihar's Rohtas district by consuming poison along with her two minor children, reportedly due to the continued harassment and trauma from her husband's mob lynching.

The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Mufassil police station in Moradabad village, Rohtas district.

The deceased, identified as Reshma Khatoon, allegedly took poison late Monday, March 30, at her home. Her four-year-old daughter, Taiyba, and her one-year-old son, Hamza, were also found to have consumed the toxic substance.
