Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- Another alleged unauthorised building in Anjaiah Nagar, Gachibowli, was demolished on Sunday, August 23, a day after a seven-storey illegal building came crashing down in the area.

Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) and Cyberabad Municipal Corporation have undertaken a joint operation to demolish the building after it was badly damaged the previous day and posed a risk of collapsing, HYDRAA said.

Officials brought a heavy-duty excavator, popularly referred to as a 'Bahubali' machine, to the locality to bring down the six-storey structure. Demolition work was undertaken amid heightened scrutiny in the area.
