Hyderabad, Jan. 14 -- An actress approached police in Hyderabad on Monday, January 12, after facing online harassment.

Based on the complaint of actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, the Cyber Crimes wing of the Cyberabad police booked 73 accused.

Sequence of events

In her complaint, the actress mentioned the sequence of events that took place in Hyderabad. It all began on December 22, 2025, when Telugu actor Sivaji made a remark on women's clothing.

As the remarks were made at a public event, on December 23, media personnel sought her reaction to it.

Reacting to it, the actress favoured individual freedom and personal choice. The following day, actor Sivaji took her name to discuss her views.
