Hyderabad, April 2 -- In view of the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 cricket matches being held from April 5 to April 22 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal, the Malkajgiri Commissionerate has elaborate arrangements for the safety of players and spectators.

A total of 2,000 police personnel are being deployed for the bandobast, including 750 law and order police, 300 traffic police, 10 platoons of Telangana State Special Police/Armed Reserve Force, 20 mounted police and four fire tenders.
