India, Sept. 24 -- Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) organised a series of community-centric activities across its Areas under Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 and Special Campaign 6. The initiatives focused on promoting cleanliness, environmental protection, responsible waste management and active participation of local communities.

In Pathakhera Area, a friendly Kabaddi match was organised at Higher Secondary School, Chhatarpur. Four teams, including two male and two female teams, participated in the event. Students, teachers and local community representatives joined the programme enthusiastically. Along with promoting sports and teamwork, the activity conveyed messages on cleanliness, collective responsibility and community participation.
