India, July 1 -- The Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission - Gramin (VB-G RAM G) Act, 2025 has come into force across India from July 1, 2026, providing 125 days of guaranteed wage employment to eligible rural households. The Government has also increased the national average daily wage by over 10% to Rs 327.4, with no notified wage below Rs 300 per day, while releasing Rs 95,692.31 crore to ensure smooth implementation across states and Union Territories.
