New Delhi, Oct. 6 -- REC Limited has allocated rs 5.71 crore under its CSR initiatives to support the Indian Red Cross Society in operating five Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) over three years, aiming to improve healthcare access for remote communities. The MMUs, launched on October 5, 2025, by Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and Rajasthan Minister Sanjay Sharma, will address healthcare needs in Alwar, Bhartari, and Behror-Kotpuli districts, reaching underserved and tribal areas.

This initiative is projected to benefit over 10,000 people monthly by providing free medical consultations, treatment, medicines, and preventive healthcare services.
