India, Sept. 10 -- The Central government has launched the 9th Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2026 in Varanasi, beginning a month-long nationwide Jan Andolan for nutrition. The campaign aims to strengthen community engagement with Anganwadi Centres and encourage collective action on nutrition, maternal health and early childhood development. The initiative will showcase nutrition-focused innovations, locally available nutritious foods and successful practices being implemented through Anganwadi Centres.
