India, Aug. 29 -- Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has facilitated the successful completion of training for 54 candidates from the seventh batch at its Skill Development Centre (SDC) in Malda under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. Senior POWERGRID officials attended the programme and highlighted the importance of industry-relevant skills in improving youth employability.

Since its inception, the SDC Malda has trained 330 candidates through seven batches. The programme is designed to provide young people with practical skills and support services that can help them secure employment and build sustainable livelihoods in the power and infrastructure sectors.
