New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- Under the PMFME Scheme, over Rs 770 crore will be allocated to support approximately 26,000 beneficiaries for micro projects in the food processing sector, amounting to a total investment exceeding Rs 2,510 crore.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate World Food India 2025 on September 25, which runs from the 25th to the 28th, showcasing India's food processing capabilities and sustainability efforts.
The event will include various formats such as CEO roundtables and exhibitions, featuring 21 participating countries and around 150 international participants, and will cover topics like India as a Global Food Processing Hub and nutrition-focused processed foods.
