New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Navi Mumbai International Airport on October 8.
This airport, a Public-Private Partnership between Mumbai International Airport Ltd (74% stake) and CIDCO (26% stake), will be Mumbai's second international airport, following Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
It has received its aerodrome licence and is designed to accommodate both domestic and international passengers, featuring a 3,700-metre runway, modern terminals, and advanced air traffic control systems.
