Mumbai, Sept. 20 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal on September 20, during the 'Samudra se Samriddhi' event, marking a significant advancement for the Mumbai Port Authority and India's cruise tourism sector.
The terminal is part of the Cruise Bharat Mission, aiming to enhance India's international cruise presence. The new facility, which replaced an old terminal at Ballard Pier, covers 4,15,000 sq. ft., has a capacity of 1 million passengers annually, and can accommodate up to 5 ships simultaneously.
