New Delhi, Oct. 24 -- The Swachhata (Cleanliness) Campaign, launched on October 2, 2025, is part of the larger Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission) and is also known as Special Campaign 5.0.

Motivated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and guided by the Minister of Coal, G. Kishan Reddy, NLCIL has been observing "Swachhotsav" as the theme for the 2025 Swachhata Hi Seva (Cleanliness is Service) campaign.

NLCIL has taken several initiatives to institutionalize cleanliness and improve community infrastructure, including scrap identification and disposal, safe e-waste removal, and transforming public utility facilities.
