India, Aug. 15 -- NHPC celebrated India's 80th Independence Day at its Corporate Office in Faridabad with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. NHPC Chairman and Managing Director Bhupender Gupta hoisted the National Flag after a group singing of the National Song, followed by the National Anthem. Senior officials, employees and their families attended the ceremony, while teams from regional offices, power stations, projects and units across India joined through live webcast.
