NABARD Develops AI Models for On-Demand Kisan Credit Loans
India, Sept. 10 -- The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is developing artificial intelligence models to support on-demand Kisan Credit loans, as India's rural financial ecosystem increasingly adopts digital lending. NABARD Chairman Shaji Krishnan V made the announcement during the second day of the Global Fintech Fest 2026, highlighting the potential of technology to make rural credit more timely, accessible and inclusive.
