India, Sept. 30 -- A fire incident occurred at MRPL around noon after a high-pressure Cold Separator operating in the Coker Hydrotreater Unit ruptured. Following the incident, the battery limits of the affected unit were immediately isolated as part of the emergency response.

MRPL's emergency response and firefighting teams were deployed to control the situation. The company said the fire has been brought under control, although firefighting operations may continue for some time to ensure the incident is handled safely.
