India, March 1 -- As tensions continue to rise in West Asia, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Sunday reached out to foreign nationals currently in India whose travel plans have been disrupted.

In a fresh advisory, the MEA asked those facing visa-related issues due to cancelled or rescheduled flights to contact their nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) for help with extending or regularising their stay. The ministry assured that the concerned FRROs would assist with the necessary formalities, offering some relief to travellers caught in the uncertainty.
