New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS) hosted a virtual workshop on "Greywater Management and Reuse" as part of the preparatory activities for the Sujalam Bharat Summit, scheduled for the end of November.
Chaired by Union Minister C R Patil and facilitated by NITI Aayog, the Summit aims to incorporate grassroots perspectives into national policy.
Key speakers included Archana Varma, who emphasized the significance of greywater management in saving water and shaping effective sanitation policies, and Kamal Kishore Soan, who highlighted the need for climate-resilient and adaptive solutions.
