India, Sept. 24 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar raised India's interests and concerns over the US Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act (SRIA) during a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in New York on September 23. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week, where Jaishankar is leading the Indian delegation.

Jaishankar said after the meeting that he had "reiterated India's interests and concerns with regard to SRIA", while also discussing the Gulf and Ukraine situations with Rubio.
