India, Aug. 31 -- Taxpayers with non-audit business or professional income must file their Income Tax Returns for AY 2026-27 by August 31, 2026. The Income Tax Department said over 7 crore returns have already been filed and urged eligible taxpayers to complete filing and verification before the deadline.
