India, Sept. 10 -- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully conducted a flight acceptance hot test of its CE20 cryogenic engine at an uprated thrust of 220 kN, marking another important milestone ahead of an upcoming LVM3 mission. The test was carried out on September 9, 2026, at the ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu. The engine tested is earmarked for the C32 upper stage of the mission.

The CE20 test at 220 kN thrust was conducted to validate the engine's performance under uprated operating conditions before its flight assignment.
